Monthly gigs at the Farncombe Cavern
The Funkestra proudly announce their monthly gig at the Farncombe Cavern on the outskirts of Guildford.
We will play in various guises on a Friday, roughly in the middle of every month?with fabulous special guests – established artists, legends and new kids on the jazz funk block.
The gig on the 20th of January will also give way to a double saxophone outing in the footsteps of the JBs. One not to be missed!
You can get your tickets on the night (? 8 regular, ? 5 for students), you could buy your tickets from?http://www.skiddle.com/whats-on/Guildford/Farncombe-Cavern/ or you can buy or download any of our CDs or any other goodies from our store and bring a proof of purchase acting as your ticket.
We are happy and proud to bring the Funk and Jazz to Farncombe (soon to be know as ‘Funkcombe’) to celebrate a bit of the big city lights culture of London in Surrey too!
We hope to see as many of you as possible there every month. If you support us by showing up, you are guaranteeing the longevity of the gig, the venue, supporting the local music scene and, of course, you’ll get to hear a whole variety of wonderful musicians, the young, and the not so much young anymore:-) and you might enjoy one or perhaps two tipples of your choice amongst friends, family and other music lovers:-)
