This month we’re pleased to welcome the Mak Murtic Ensemble.
Mak Murtic is currently a tenor sax and composition/arranging student at the LCCM in London. He is a very talented young man and I first came across his music after my LCCM Big Band Workshop in April. I?m happy that he agreed to come down to Farncombe to bring yet another musical flavour onto the bandstand.
His ensemble plays a mix of brass band, funk, Duke Ellington and Balkan music with a lot of Croation and Serbian influences.
