Hamish Stuart pays tribute to Molly Duncan at the Masterlink Sessions

Masterlink Session with Hamish Stuart – watch it HERE

Chris Rizik from Soultraks has featured our videos in the past (Mike Farris, Jo Harman) – this time he has featured ‘No More Days’ our Masterlink Session with Hamish Stuart in loving memory of ‘Molly’ Duncan. Have a read and watch HERE.

Next up Sam Tanner‘s ‘Back To Us’ and Diana Silveira‘s ‘Ain’t No Truth’.

We you hope you will enjoy this one! A very proud moment for us at Masterlink Sessions!

Hamish Stewart

Press release:

We’re certainly had some great and noted musicians perform at Masterlink Productions with the house band being the rhythm section of the Redtenbacher’s Funkestra and none more than a recent session with Hamish Stuart (James Stuart). Hamish Stuart is universally regarded as UK music royalty, not just as the falsetto voice, guitar/sometimes bass, and songwriter with the ‘classic’ Average White Band line up (6 gold records and multiple hits, including the all time classic ‘Pick Up The Pieces’, co-written by Hamish), but also his subsequent work with artists such as Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross, George Benson, Chaka Khan, David Sanborn, Quincy Jones, and Atlantic Starr, to name but a few. More than that, Hamish is one of the few musicians who has worked with the two surviving Beatles, Paul McCartney (for whom Hamish toured and recorded with for over a 6 year period) and Ringo Starr (Hamish returns to the US to tour with Ringo again later in the year).

In this interview, Hamish talks to me about the origins of a new song ‘No More Days’, the performance ‘Masterlink Sessions’ video of which will be world premiered by SoulTracks.com in the not to distance future. Keep an eye on their sites – or better still subscribe to their newsletter – for this!
