Happy holidays from Masterlink Sessions

Dear Patreons and friends,

the Masterlink Sessions team (Leo, James and Stefan) and all the awesome musicians and artists wish you a merry Christmas, happy holidays and a BIG thank you for all your support in 2021.

It’s been a rollercoaster and we’ve made it through all the ups and downs with your help and a good amount of grid and determination.

‘Let It Snow’ with the Masterlink Sessions studio house band (a.k.a Redtenbacher’s Funkestra). A one take wonder, recorded within the last 15 minutes of the last session.

‘Santa Claus is Coming to Town’ featuring Connor Selby and the Masterlink Sessions studio band. Let’s face it, almost nobody next to nobody can spell nor pronounce ‘Redtenbacher’s Funkestra’ – hence ‘Masterlink All Stars’ – so much more palatable, isn’t it? 🙂

Connor is a total super-fan of Ray Charles and it was great fun to perform this tune for a ‘Live At Masterlink’ live stream. We really enjoyed the swing of the tune and decided to record and film a three piece horn section afterwards.

This was a step up from last year when we had to record each player of the horn section remotely. Who knows, maybe next year we can all be together again? Either way, in words of a friend: “These are the good old times, right now!”
